#Enrolments & Bookings

We use an online portal - My Family Lounge - to manage all casual and permanent bookings and requests. Follow the steps below to enrol or book in your child/children.  

#Enrol in our Service

To make a booking, you first need to Register for My Family Lounge (1-mins) and complete our Enrolment Form (2-mins). Once registered, you can use the My Family Lounge website (or download the App) to make future permanent or casual bookings. 

Step 1Register for our online booking system (My Family Lounge portal)

To start - click here and register to use the online system. You will receive an email to create your My Family Lounge login and password.
Step 2Login - to start your Enrolment Form and Booking request

Once registered - login to to tell us your name, your child's details, and what bookings you would like.

For example: casual / vacation care booking, or waitlist for a permanent booking. 

#Booking Requests

Permanent Bookings

  • If you have requested permanent bookings, we will come back to you within 48 hours and advise if we have a spot available for your child/children. 
  • If we have a spot, we will offer you a place (via email).
  • You will then need to Login to the My Family Lounge portal where you can "Accept" the offer, as well as complete and submit the "Enrolment Form". 

Casual Bookings

  • Bookings can be made up until 6.30am each day.


  • 48 hours notice (by 9am) via email (, phone or SMS (0498 956 651) is required to cancel booking. 
  • All cancellations must be approved by School Age Care.
  • The App cannot be used for cancellations.

What is the My Family Lounge portal?

We use an online portal - My Family Lounge - to enrol child/children in our Service, manage all casual and permanent bookings and requests, make changes to contact details, and add approved people for collection.

Please see the "Enrol in our Service" section above to register to use the portal.

I have registered for My Family Lounge, how do I start my enrolment?

Step 1 - Login to My Family Lounge, using the login and password you registered.

Step 2 - Under the Enrolment Management tab, scroll down to the CHILD heading, click "Add Child" (the far-right corner) to start the enrolment process for your child/ren.

How do I download the My Family Lounge App?

Step 1 - Download the My Family Lounge App from the web link below, or search your App Store/Google Play.

Step 2 - Sign In to the App using your My Family Lounge login and password.

*the App can be used for bookings and managing absent days.
*if you have not yet registered to use the My Family Lounge portal, see the "Enrol in our Service" above for instructions.

How do I make a booking on the App?

Step 1 - Sign into the App on your phone, with the login and password you have registered to use with My Family Lounge.

Step 2 - Click “Sessions”

Step 3 - Select the Child/Children and Category (eg. Vacation Care) you wish to book for.

Step 4 - Using the calendar provided click on the date required (green), check there are “Available Places” and click on “Book Session”.

Note: Booked Casual places will display as purple.

Why did my payment increase this week / fortnight?

If you receive a Child Care Subsidy (CCS), the amount can change.

Non-attendance is a common reason. Your CCS will automatically cease after 8 weeks of non-attendance at School Age Care or Vacation Care. To resolve this - you will need to login to your My Gov account and re-approve our service as a provider of care for your child/ren.

What payment options are available at your Service?

We offer direct debit only.

Can someone else pick up my child?

In special circumstances, you can arrange for someone to collect your child/children. Our Service will need to be notified in writing (via email to with the details of who will be collecting your child/children.

*the person collecting must provide photo ID (ie. Drivers License).

You can add additional Contacts you have pre-approved to collect your child/children via the My Family Lounge. To do this:

Step 1 - Sign In to My Family Lounge (through the website link below).
Step 2 - Click on "Contacts" and "Add Contact".

Can you take my child / children to-and-from extra-curricular activities?

Yes we can!

To arrange for our Service to assist with getting your child / children to-and-from their extra curricular activities please email our Service with the following details:

Activity, times, days, dates, and location.

Eg. Pick up from: Tutoring, 4.00pm, Tuesday, 14 Jun-18 Sep, Library.

Can parents / carers attend excursions?

We love our School Age Care community, and work closely with parents and carers to provide a fun, safe and enriching environment.

With this in mind - only our School Age Care staff attend excursions.

All of our qualified and experienced staff hold current First Aid Certificates, and Blue Cards (Working with Children Check).
